General Waste Bin
The general waste bin (pink bin or red lid) is provided for general household waste that cannot be recycled or go into your kerbside FOGO bin. Waste is collected weekly.
Using your general waste bin and sending materials to landfill should always be the last option.
Acceptable item:

 | ✅ Damaged clothing, shoes and textiles |
 | ✅ Any item that can't go into your FOGO or Recycling bin |
 | ✅ Crockery and ceramics |
 | ✅ Disposable nappies |
 | ✅ Broken glassware, crockery and mirrors |
 | ✅ Soft plastics and plastic bags |
 | ✅ Foam |
Unacceptable items
 | ❌ Building materials |
 | ❌ Batteries |
 | ❌ Electrical and e-waste |
 | ❌ Gas bottles |
 | ❌ Paints and Solvents |
 | ❌ Garden Waste |
 | ❌ Recyclable glass |
